January 3 – 5, 2014: 3 Days of Acousmatics at the San Francisco Tape Music Festival
The next San Francisco Tape Music Festival will be held on January 3-5, 2014 at the Z Below in San Francisco (USA). Three days of classics, early sound pioneers’ works and premieres. Amongst the 26 works are those by Hans Tutschku, Maggi Payne, Denis Smalley, Peter Batchelor, Thom Blum, Matt Ingalls, François Bayle, Jonty Harrison, Hildegard Westerkamp, Elainie Lillios, Stijn Govaere, and Elsa Justel.
January 16, 2013: Andrew Lewis in Concert at De Montfort
The January 16, 2013 concert at the PACE Studio 1 of De Montfort University (Leicester, UK) will present 3 works by Andrew Lewis, one premiere by Peter Batchelor, and a work by Kimon Emmanouil Grigoriadis.
June 5 – 6, 2009: Sound Junction 2009: Bayle, Tutschku, Moore…
The Sound Junction 2009 event will take place on June 5-6, 2009 at the University of Sheffield (UK) with special guest: François Bayle, who will give a concert on June 5. Also scheduled, a premiere by Robert Dow and works by Hans Tutschku, Adrian Moore, Erdem Helvacıoğlu, Christian Zanési, and Peter Batchelor.

Reflections by Peter Batchelor, and Saskatchewan Sound Installations by Gordon Monahan are now on sale on electrocd.com. Peter Batchelor has selected some choice pieces of his atmospheric and meditative sound art, spanning a decade. Gordon Monahan conjures up the prairies of Saskatchewan with an impressive series of varied tracks utilising his fascinating installations.
The 2007 CIMESP Laureates, Brazil
The 7th International Electroacoustic Music Contest of São Paulo (CIMESP 2007) received works of 208 composers from 33 countries! The international jury formed by Christian Calon, Gilles Gobeil, Flô Menezes and João Pedro Oliveira has awarded, amongst others, Liaisons mécaniques by Nicolas Bernier (2nd Prize ex aequo) and honorable mentions were given to 7 works, including those of Elizabeth Anderson, Manuella Blackburn, António Ferreira, Raúl Minsburg, Steingrimur Rohloff, Diana Simpson, Hans Tutschku. Premières traces du Choucas by Francis Dhomont won the Public Prize.
Were also announced the selected works for the upcoming 7th International Biennial for Electroacoustic Music of São Paulo (VII BIMESP 2008) in the fall of 2008. They include: Last Thoughts Before Silence by Mathew Adkins, scènes, rendez-vous by Pete Stollery, Kaleidoscope: Arcade by Peter Batchelor, When I was Wood by Stephan Dunkelman.
March 9 – 11, 2007: MANTIS South-North Festival, UK
Acousmatic pieces by Martin Bédard, Robert Normandeau, Mathew Adkins, Laurie Radford, Pete Stollery, plus a videomusic by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be presented during the MANTIS South-North Weekend Festival from March 9 to 11, 2007 in Manchester (UK). A total of 21 acousmatic compositions and 6 audiovisual works have been selected amongst the 186 proposals from composers from 32 countries.
