The next San Francisco Tape Music Festival will be held on January 3-5, 2014 at the Z Below in San Francisco (USA). Three days of classics, early sound pioneers’ works and premieres. Amongst the 26 works are those by Hans Tutschku, Maggi Payne, Denis Smalley, Peter Batchelor, Thom Blum, Matt Ingalls, François Bayle, Jonty Harrison, Hildegard Westerkamp, Elainie Lillios, Stijn Govaere, and Elsa Justel.

Are proposed, 3 portrait concerts — Francis Dhomont, Flô Menezes, and François Bayle —, historical concerts — The ’60s, The ’90s, The 2000s — with works by, amongst others, Bernard Parmegiani, Christian Zanési, Hans Tutschku, Robert Normandeau, Jens Hedman, Gilles Gobeil… — and concerts of music from Chile and from the Studio PANaroma.

At the initiative of composer Stephan Dunkelman, 4 acousmatic composers amongst the most important of the genre — François Bayle, Francis Dhomont, Beatriz Ferreyra, and Bernard Parmegiani — pay homage to the work of Annette Vande Gorne on May 9, 2011 at a concert in Flagey in Brussels (Belgium). They will each diffuse a work by Vande Gorne and premiere a new work of their own. On the same programme are more premieres by Jonty Harrison, Ingrid Drese, Raúl Minsburg, and Elsa Justel.
