The 9th BIMESP 2012 will take place in São Paulo in two parts: 9 concerts of acousmatic music on August 27 to September 1st, 2012, and 3 concerts of mixed music, September 4 — 6. Are proposed, 3 portrait concerts — Francis Dhomont, Flô Menezes, and François Bayle —, historical concerts — The ’60s, The ’90s, The 2000s — with works by, amongst others, Bernard Parmegiani, Christian Zanési, Hans Tutschku, Robert Normandeau, Jens Hedman, Gilles Gobeil… — and concerts of music from Chile and from the Studio PANaroma.

May 9, 2011: Annette Vande Gorne’s Work Celebrated
At the initiative of composer Stephan Dunkelman, 4 acousmatic composers amongst the most important of the genre — François Bayle, Francis Dhomont, Beatriz Ferreyra, and Bernard Parmegiani — pay homage to the work of Annette Vande Gorne on May 9, 2011 at a concert in Flagey in Brussels (Belgium). They will each diffuse a work by Vande Gorne and premiere a new work of their own. On the same programme are more premieres by Jonty Harrison, Ingrid Drese, Raúl Minsburg, and Elsa Justel.
