States of Play is a weekend of immersion in sound organized by BEAST on October 15 to 17, 2010 at the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra Centre (Birmingham, UK). Theresa Transistor (Christian Bouchard, Christian Calon, Mario Gauthier, Monique Jean) will be at the Mois Multi (MM10), a festival of technological arts held in Québec City which takes place from February 12 to March 1, 2009. The quartet will present a work of improvised electroacoustics called Espèces d’espaces on February 12, 2009.

September 25, 2008: Black Rains in Lisbon, Montréal

Robert Normandeau’s Pluies noires (Black Rains), a work co-comissionned by Miso Music (Portugal) and Réseaux (Montréal), by will premiere on September 25, 2008 during the Festival Música Viva in Lisbon (Portugal). The work will also be presented on December 13 during Akousma (5) in Montréal. In Portugal, Robert Normandeau will also present Le renard et la rose along with two more works commissioned by Réseaux: Parcelles 2 by Christian Bouchard, and Ouest (a mouvement from Atlas) by Christian Calon.
