Ian Chuprun started his artistic career in photography, film animation and sculpture but made his way to electroacoustics in 1988 while completing a BFA at Concordia University. Since then he taught a range of art classes at a Montréal College, completed an MMus with Jonty Harrison at the University of Birmingham (UK) and then lectured in electroacoustics at Concordia University. He is presently dividing his time between providing for his growing family and composing multi-channel acousmatic pieces.
