On November 13 and 14, 2009 at the Lavoir moderne parisien the Licences festival is celebratings its 10th anniversary and the music of several composers including Ilhan Mimaroglu, Luigi Nono, Jean-Claude Éloy, and Francis Dhomont. The trans_canada festival at the ZKM in 2005 was centered around 8 new works by as many Canadian composers: Nicolas Bernier, Darren Copeland, Francis Dhomont, Louis Dufort, Gilles Gobeil, Robert Normandeau, Barry Truax, and Hildegard Westerkamp. The trans_canada DVD-Audio finally brings these works together in 24-bit high definition sound in both stereo and Surround 5.1.
