Mirtru Escalona-Mijares

Mirtru Escalona-Mijares started his musical training in his home country with Rafael Saavedra and Gerardo Gerulewicz. On José Manuel López-López and Paul Méfano’s suggestion, he left his country in order to pursue his studies in France. In 2000, he continued his training with Philippe Leroux, Ivan Fedele and Christine Groult, before finishing his studies with a Master in composition (with an electroacoustic and computerized music) at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique et de danse in Lyon, following Robert Pascal, Michele Tadini and Denis Lorrain’s classes.
