Paul Ramage is a violonsit, improviser and composer. He joined Didier Lockwood’s School in 2003 and pursued an interest in jazz and improvised music. At the same time, he completed classical violon studies at the CRR of Cergy-Pontoise with Aude Lefevre, Franck Delavalle, and chamber music with François Poly. He holds a DEM of jazz, violon and electroacoustic composition at the Conservatory of Paris. In 2012 and 2013 he attended Futura acousmatic performance workshops. Composer of around 20 acousmatic, mixt or instrumental works, he performs and was performed in various countries (France, Japan, USA, China…). He is nowadays a member of Alcôme (contemporary music producer and presenter) and keeps himself busy by letting creation in all its aspects live its life.
