October 24 – 27, 2011: Concert, Conferences by Stéphane Roy in Germany
Stéphane Roy will be in Bremen and Oldenburg (Germany) on October 24 - 27, 2011 to present a concert (works by Martin Bédard, Georges Forget, and Stéphane Roy) and two conferences on electroacoustic music analysis. First stop is during the Scanned: Elektroakustische Musik im Fokus event at Haus der Wissenschaft (conference on October 24) and at Oldenburger Kunstverein (concert on October 25). The second conference will be given on October 27 at the music department of the Carl von Ossietzk Universität Oldenburg.

October 28 – 30, 2011: 4 days of Electroacoustics at MANTIS in Manchester, UK
Acousmatic pieces by Andrew Lewis (including one premiere), Adrian Moore, and David Berezan (including two UK premieres) and mixed works by Hans Tutschku and Chikashi Miyama, amongst several others, will be presented during the MANTIS Festival Fall 2011 from October 28 to 30, 2011 in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall of The University of Manchester (UK).

October 9 – 16, 2011: Smalley, Harrison, Dhomont at EmuFest, Rome
The 4th Festival Internazionale di Musica Elettroacustica del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia (EmuFest) will take place on October 9 to 16, 2011 in Rome (Italy). One of its 15 concerts focuses on the United Kingdom and presents works by Denis Smalley and Jonty Harrison, amongst others. Works by Francis Dhomont are also programed during this festival.

Pianist Xenia Pestova will perform three works written for her on September 29, 2011 at Powis Hall, Bangor (Wales, UK): Schattenklavier for piano and processing by Andrew Lewis, the British premiere of On the Impossibility of Reflection for piano and processing by Scott Wilson, and the premiere of John Young’s X for piano and tape. The programme will also include works by Messiaen, Mompou and Ravel.
