Ai-maako, the 11th Festival Internacional de Música Electroacústica de Chile, will take place on October 14 - 22, 2011 in Santiago and Valdivia (Chile). Works by Francis Dhomont, Federico Schumacher Ratti, Gilles Gobeil, João Pedro Oliveira, Martin Bédard and several others are featured during this 2-city festival.

The 17th international acousmatic festival L’Espace du son will take place from October 20 to 24, 2010 at Théâtre Marni in Brussels (Belgium). The guest composers are Régis Renouard Larivière, Federico Schumacher Ratti, and Michel Chion. Also on the programme one concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of empreintes DIGITALes.

The Foundation Destellos has announced the results of the 3rd edition of its International competition of electroacoustic composition: Adam Stanović has received the first prize for his work Escapade, the Motus Prize has been awarded to El espejo de Alicia by Federico Schumacher Ratti, and the Phonos Prize has been awarded to Métal en bouche by Georges Forget. Mentions were also awarded to works by Franco Alberto Pellini, Éric Broitmann, Ambrose Seddon, Luciano Giambastiani, and Elainie Lillios.
