African Recordings II: Séries sonores 39
Uli Aumüller
On the way to the Pan African Orchestra Joseph, a xylophone-player from northern Ghana asked me to listen to his songs, in which he explains how the hearts of African girls could easily be conquered. This recording opens the CD, followed by a documentation of a rehearsal session of the Panafrican Orchestra (under the shadow of the trees of God), an orchestra exclusively playing with African instruments and whose repertory was composed by its founder and director Nana Dansu Abiam with his Atari-computer.
