The ICMC 2012 conference will take place on Septembr 9 - 14, 2012 in Ljubljana (Slovenia). Hundreds of works will be presented in concert and listening sessions including those by Monty Adkins, David Berezan, Manuella Blackburn (Switched on), Elizabeth Hoffman (Soundendipities), Elainie Lillios, and Pierre Alexandre Tremblay.

Christine Groult and Beatriz Ferreyra will present two different outdoor concerts on July 30, 2012 at Pré du Moulin in Boulc (France) and on July 31 at Place des fêtes in Barnave (France). On the programme in Boulc: La condition captive and Le temps du ciel: entropie by Christine Groult, and Río de los pájaros azules and Les larmes de l’inconnu by Beatriz Ferreyra. On the programme in Barnave: Si l’oiseau par hasard… and Étincelles by Christine Groult, and La ba-balle du chien-chien à la mé-mère and Río de los pájaros by Beatriz Ferreyra.

The concert A Festival for the Contemporary Organ produced by Hear This Space on June 30, 2012 will take place at Margaret’s Church in Leicester (England, UK). Amongst the works on the programme are Lamentations by John Young and the acousmatic version of Chorals ornés by Yves Daoust.

Francis Dhomont will give a conference and a master class and will present two concerts at the annual festival Suona Francese on May 9, 2012 in Perugia and on May 10 in Rome in Italy.

A solo concert of John Young’s work will be presented at the PACE Studio 1 of De Montfort University on March 2, 2012. The concert is also a celebration of the composer’s 50th anniversary, two days later. On the programme are a multichannel work, a videomusic work, and a mixed work.
