After a surprising performance in Montréal for the Rien à voir (14) concert series held October 2003, iconoclasts activists behind Front, Max Haiven (Halifax) and Jon Vaughn (Saskatoon), are now disseminating their irrevencial work across Canada. Contrarily to many contemporary works, Front is a 73-minute composition which cause nothing less than a confrontation between your perception of the world and the world itself! When is the last time you truly experienced art?

Italians Maurizio Martusciello and Filippo Paolini form the duo Meta_xu. Their latest release on No Type in a remarkable reflexion about war. Made of samples, tapes and digital processing, Rumors of War presents 12 tracks, each representing a conflict of the 20th century. Also included on the disc, a video excerpt by Mattia Casalegno based on the album music.
