This book is a revised and expanded edition of the book of the same title published in 2005, La Música Electroacústica en Chile: 50 años [Electroacoustic Music in Chile: 50 Years]. Twenty years after its original publication, this edition includes new information gathered since the first edition in various chapters. It also summarizes the evolution of the genre since 2005 in three new chapters that address aspects that were just emerging at that time or had not yet come into being.
