Déluge presents three new 2002 fall releases. First, on Saccacomie, four musicians remix a classic country composition by Rodrigue Frappier. Also, Raphaël Simard aka Le Packageur, proposes his last opus, Rond Rond. Finally, A_dontigny (one half of morceaux_de_machines) offers a mad deconstruction of Québec pop music with On est 7 millions, faut s’sampler!.

Saskatoon’s unique Ramada Golf Dome will host the video-musical event Digidome from September 27 to 29, 2002. Based on the meeting of B movies and glitch, Digidome features artists Ian Birse and Laura Kavanaugh, Camp, A_dontigny, duul_drv, Carrie Gates, Max Haiven, Marinko Jareb, LiminaL projects, Jon Vaughn, vitaminsforyou and a workshop on the use of vinyl and turntables in new music with Esther B.

The concert by Diane Labrosse (sampler) and A_dontigny (computer), recorded on April 20, 2002 at Casa del Popolo, will be broadcasted by Radio-Canada’s Chaîne culturelle on Sunday September 8, 2002 at 10 pm (EST).

David Turgeon and A_dontigny are Hélène Prévost’s guests on January 27, 2002 at 10 pm for Le Navire “Night” radio show on Chaîne culturelle de Radio-Canada. The topics discussed includes the new No Type 2 CD compilation The Freest of Radicals, alternative networks in electronic music, new internet communities and audio diplomacy. Musics from the No Type website, www.notype.com, and concert excerpts from the POSTrien series, coproduced by Réseaux, will accompany selections from the 2CD set.
