The 1st Festival di musica elettroacustica will take place from May 28 to 30, 2004 in Cagliari (Sardinia) and will features works by: Tu M’, Ralf Wehowsky, Michel Chion, Åke Parmerud, Theodore Lotis, Elio Martusciello, François Bayle, Marc Favre, Bernard Fort and many other composers.

Amongst the activities presented in July by Phonurgia’s summer radio university, composer Bernard Fort will give a 4-day workshop on animal soundscapes and field recordings. In Camargue (France) on July 15 to 18, 2004.

Bernard Fort’s lastest disc, Lumière dans la nuit(Light in the Night), will be officially launched in Europe on April 2, 2004 during a concert at Théâtre de la Villa Gillet (Lyon, France).

Bernard Fort is devoted to ornithology and the study of the natural soundscapes. On Lumière dans la nuit (“Lights in the Night”) three works are gathered, spanning ten years of creation in collaboration with France’s Ina-GRM. A powerful first album on empreintes DIGITALes by this French composer.

Paris’ Glaz’Art will host the Futura festival September 24 and 25, 2003. Under the theme “Sound Magicians,” director of Motus acousmonium, Denis Dufour and three performers will take turns at the console of an impressive system of more than 50 loudspeakers. On September 24, a first concert will feature works by De Filippis, Zanési, Teruggi, Schaeffer, Reibel, Normandeau, Fort and Ascione. Ivo Malec, Michel Chion and many other composers are also presented the following day. Finally, late-night concerts will be devoted to masters of the medium Luc Ferrari and Bernard Parmegiani.
