The series Je me souviens (2), tribute to Québec electronic music pionneers will present a concert dedicated to alcides lanza with, amongst others, Novi_sad, Pierre Tanguay and Érick d’Orion on June 10, 2009 at La Sala Rossa (Montréal).

A retrospective concert with the music of alcides lanza will take place on March 10, 2008 at Tanna Schulich Hall in Montréal. The launching of the book alcides lanza: Portrait of a Composer by Pamela Jones will precede the concert.

alcides lanza will be in Rosario (Argentina) on May 5 to 8, 2007 to present a master class of Canadian-Argentinian electroacoustic music. The programme notably includes works by Wende Bartley, Gilles Gobeil, and John Oliver.

During the Guelph Jazz Festival (Ontario), Musicworks magazine, committted to finding new forms of expression in the sound arts, presents a “25th anniversary audio art installation” featuring audio works from the last 25 years with composers Schafer, Dutton, Oswald, Westerkamp, Oliveros, Truax, Le Caine, and lanza.
