Andreas Vorwerk was born in 1983 in Suhl (German Democratic Republic). Between 2007 and 2010 he studies electroacoustic composition at the Bauhaus University Weimar under Professor Robin Minard and Constantin Popp. After receiving his bachelor of Fine Arts in 2011, he continues to pass his master classes in composition at the Liszt School of Music in Weimar where he is enrolled at the Institute of New Music studying under the tutelage of Professor Robin Minard.
