    Aujourd’hui les musiques du futur (“Tomorrow’s music today”) is a series of concert produced bu the GMVL and held from November 12 to 16, 2002 at Les Subsistances (Lyon). Amongst the featured composers, Robert Normandeau will give an acousmatic concert on November 12 and the director of Musiques & Recherches (Ohain, Belgium), Annette Vande Gorne, will present her work Autour de la voix on November 13.

    On Monday September 30, 2002, the 4th Orgue et couleurs festival invites you to a “connected” evening where traditional instruments and current technology meet for our greater pleasure. Robert Normandeau will present Chorus, recently awarded at the 2002 Freiburg International Sacred Music Composition competition; Gilles Gobeil will reveal to the Québec public his new creation, La perle et l’oubli for tape and ondes Martenot (performed by Suzanne Binet-Audet); also, the organ and piano duet Majoya. In Montréal’s Saint-Nom-de-Jésus church at 8pm.

    September 27, 2002: Glitch-Pop Drama at Saskatoon’s Digidome Event!

    Saskatoon’s unique Ramada Golf Dome will host the video-musical event Digidome from September 27 to 29, 2002. Based on the meeting of B movies and glitch, Digidome features artists Ian Birse and Laura Kavanaugh, Camp, A_dontigny, duul_drv, Carrie Gates, Max Haiven, Marinko Jareb, LiminaL projects, Jon Vaughn, vitaminsforyou and a workshop on the use of vinyl and turntables in new music with Esther B.
