Arturo Parra will premiere the work Pour masquer le chant des oiseaux (for MIDI guitar and computer) at the Ce vert flou event, a concert of Claude Frenette’s works featuring dance, electroacoustic music, and poetry. The show will be held Satuday January 14, 2006 at the Anaïs-Allard-Rousseau hall in Trois-Rivières (Québec) and on March 24, 2006 at the Maison de la culture Ahuntsic-Cartierville in Montréal (Québec).

Au fil de l’eau, a concert featuring works produced at the Métamorphoses d’Orphée studio, will be presented aboard the barge Équisonnance on December 10, 2005 in Tournai (Belgium). Patrick Ascione, Stephan Dunkelman, Theodore Lotis, and Annette Vande Gorne are amongst the featured composers.

The premiere of the definitive version of L’isle sonante by Michel Chion will be held Sunday December 4, 2005 at the Salle Olivier Messiaen of the Maison de Radio France (Paris).

Arturo Parra will play R Murray Schafer’s Le Cri de Merlin (for guitar and tape) alongside other first-rate Montréal musicians for the event R Murray Schafer in Concert. This concert-homage will be held in presence of the composer on Saturday November 26, 2005 at Concordia University’s Oscar Peterson Hall (Montréal).

The 2005 Silence festival will be held from November 25 to 27, 2005 at the IPS Gorjux auditorium in Bari (Italy). The acousmatic concerts will feature works by Pierre Henry, François Bayle. Luc Ferrari, Bernard Parmegiani, Luciano Berio, Jean-Claude Risset, Beatriz Ferreyra and many others.

The pychedelic and analog trio The Unireverse will give three concerts in Montréal soon. The band will play at the O Patro Vys on November 12, 2005, at the Friendship Cove on November 16, 2005 with Shalabi Effect and Dreamcatcher, and lastly at the Main Hall with Holy F**k on November 18, 2005.
