On Friday May 2, 2008 Dr Ox (Natasha Barrett, laptop; Tanja Orning, cello) will be in concert at Domkirken in Bergen (Norway); and on Saturday May 3 at Sagene Kulturverksted in Oslo. Their new CD DR.OX will be soon avalaible on electrocd.com.

Andrew Lewis will be in concert on May 22, 2008 at University of Hull’s School of Arts and New Media in Scarborough (England, UK). He will notably present his piece Danses acousmatiques that appears on Miroirs obscurs. He will give a lecture before the concert. Moreover, his piece Budo Variations will be played by duo Contour on June 11 at Elisabeth-Schneider-Stiftung in Freiburg (Germany).

The new radiophonic piece The Other Night, Underwater by Darren Copeland and Andreas Kahre will be on air on Friday May 2, 2008 at midnight — Berlin time (Germany) — on Deutschlandradio Kultur (or on Thursday May 1 at 6 pm in Montréal). Note: the piece will not be archived on-line, so this might be the only chance to hear it!

Je me souviens, a 4-day series of exploratory music (curated by Éric Mattson), will be presented on April 23-24, 2008 and May 22-23, 2008 at La Sala Rossa in Montréal. Amongst guest artists: Aun, Chantale Laplante, Skoltz_Kolgen, Alexandre St-Onge, Martin Tétreault, Nancy Tobin…

Chœur des femmes 2, movement of Annette Vande Gorne’s opera Yawar fiesta on a libretto by Werner Lambersy, will be presented on April 28, 2008 as part of the symposium entitled “La spatialisation des musiques électroniques,” organized by the Université Jean Monnet’s CIEREC in Saint-Étienne (France). Annette Vande Gorne will also also present a conference on “composing with/in space” on April 29.
