5-Penny New Music Concerts is presenting Arturo Parra in a concert of the integral of his disc Voz (four works for guitar and spoken voice) on May 23, 2009 at St Peter’s United Church in Sudbury (Canada). Parra will also give classes and conferences in schools of the area.

The series Je me souviens (2), tribute to Québec electronic music pionneers (curated by Éric Mattson), will present a concert dedicated to Pierre Mercure with, amongst others, Monique Jean on May 22, 2009 at La Sala Rossa (Montréal).

A concert by Kristoff K.Roll will be broadcasted on France Musique at the À l’improviste programme on May 22, 2009 at midnight. During one month, the concert will be online on the Radio France website.

Nicolas Bernier and Simon Trottier will be performing their project Objet abandonné en mer… et retrouvé en forêt at the 18th Festival des musiques de création (FMC) in Jonquière (Québec) on May 15, 2009.

Julie Rousse will give a concert on May 16, 2009 at Le Rigoletto in Paris (France). Then, from June 8 to 20 she will be on an European tour (France, Germany, and Belgium) with Winnipeg (Canada) musician Crys Cole.

Natasha Barrett will give a concert on May 16, 2009 at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Olso (Norway). She will present her work Rhizaria (cello and processing) from the cycle Barely and a live electronics improvisation set with her duo Dr Ox (with cellist Tanja Orning).
