Paul Dolden will premiere his work The Un-Tempered Orchestra on the opening night concert of the SinusTon festival in Magdeburger (Germany), October 14 to 18, 2010.

Nicolas Bernier and Martin Messier will perform their La chambre des machines on September 11, 2010 at the Chicago Cultural Center as part of Sonar Chicago.

Le son des choses presents the 2nd acousmatic night on July 24, 2010 from 10pm to 1am in the Prieuré in Pommiers (France). On the programme works by Jorge Antunes, Michel Chion, Francis Dhomont, Ingrid Drese, Karine Dumont, Luc Ferrari, Tomonari Higaki et Michel Redolfi.

The final concert of the spatialization workshop organized by Musiques & Recherches will take place on September 4, 2010 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The “spatializers” Massimo Avantaggiato, Alexis Boilley, Christopher Brasted, Sophie Delafontaine, Concha Garcia, and Hiromi Watanabe will present several works including Espace / Escape by Francis Dhomont, Figures d’espace by Annette Vande Gorne, Mortuos Plango, Vivo Vocos by Jonathan Harvey, and Terra Incognita by Denis Dufour.

Annette Vande Gorne is a guest composer at the 6th Bienal Internacional de Música Eletroacústica de São Paulo (BIMESP) to take place on August 18 - 27, 2010 at the Teatro Maria de Lourdes Sekeff of the Instituto de Artes da UNESP in São Paulo (Brazil). On August 19 afternoon Annette Vande Gorne will give a master class and, in the evening, will diffuse a megaconcert of Belgian music, the Painel dos Países 2 — Bélgica concert. On August 20 she will spatialise the works selected by Gilles Gobeil for the Painel dos Países 3 — Canadá concert.

John Young will soon be busy in New Zealand making a live radio appearance on Radio New Zealand Concert (August 10, 2010 at 7pm), giving classes at the University of Canterbury in Christchurch (August 16 + 18) and holding a research seminar and a composition workshop (August 24 + 27) at the School of Music of The University of Auckland. On September 2 at the New Zealand Electroacoustic Music Symposium (NZEMS) hosted by the National Institute of Creative Arts and Industries (NICAI) of The University of Auckland John Young will give the keynote address and present his 16-channel work Smoke and Mirrors in concert. The next day Arrivederci for ensemble and tape, and Are You Everybody?, a recent videomusic created with Lala Meredith-Vula, will also be performed.
