Gilles Gobeil and onde Martenot player Suzanne Binet-Audet will present seven concerts in the UK from November 12 to 23, 2011: Edinburgh (12), Glasgow (14), Keele (16), Bangor (17), Birmingham (19), Norwich (21), Scarborough (23). In these concerts are programed the three works for ondes Martenot and tape by Gilles Gobeil from the disc Trilogie d’ondes along with a few recent acousmatic pieces.

The happy superposition of the festival Sound Travels and of the Toronto Electroacoustic Symposium (TES) brings together concerts and keynote presentation with Jonty Harrison, David Berezan, Yves Daoust and many others. The main concert of Sound Travels and the symposium take place on August 10 - 13, 2011 at Artscape Wychwood Barns in Toronto (Canada). The following week, August 16 - 20, will present an intensive workshop with Jonty Harrison, David Ogborn, Darren Copeland, Rob Cruickshank, and Marla Hlady in the same venue, Artscape Wychwood Barns.

The ICMC 2011 will take place on July 31 - August 5, 2011 at the University of Huddersfield (England, UK). Over one hundred researchers and composers will take part in conferences, listening sessions, and concerts including Jon Appleton, Natasha Barrett, Flô Menezes, Jean Piché, David Berezan, John Young, Horacio Vaggione, Todor Todoroff… At the August 1 reception, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will preview his 3rd DVD-Audio Quelques reflets while Elainie Lillios will introduce her first solo disc Entre espaces.

Kristoff K.Roll (J-Kristoff Camps, Carole Rieussec) will present their “audio-speaking naps” series À l’ombre des ondes twice on July 15, 2011 at Musée Fujak as part of the Festival Avignon Off 2011.

The Musikwissenschaftliches Institut of the Universität zu Köln (Cologne, Germany) presents a series of three concerts and one conference on the acousmtics of Francis Dhomont from June 29 to July 1, 2011. Also on the concert programmes are works by Annette Vande Gorne, and Hans Tutschku.

On June 7 and 8, 2011 the Institute for Computer Music and Sound Technology (ICST) of the Zürcher Hochschule der Künste (ZHdK) in Zürich (Switzerland) is presenting a solo concert and a master class with Francis Dhomont.
