No Type’s disc Les arbres by Nicolas Bernier was awarded the Opus prize of the “Disc of the Year — Musique actuelle, Electroacoustics” at the 13th Opus Prizes gala on January 31, 2010 in Montréal. Also of interest: Chorals ornés for organ and tape by Yves Daoust — and performed by Régis Rousseau — was awarded the Opus prize “Premiere of the Year.”

Throughout 2010 empreintes DIGITALes is celebrating its 20 years of disc production. Several concert organizations from here and abroad are celebrating our label by presenting concerts with works from our collection. The work Chorals ornés is also nominated for “Premiere of the Year.” Winners will be announced on January 31, 2010 during the Gala in Montréal.
