In the next ÉlectroBelge concert, 3 generations of electroacousticians will present their work. Amongst the 8 guest composers: Ingrid Drese (Voix de l’aurore), and Annette Vande Gorne (Combattimento, movement of the Yawar Fiesta opera). The concert will take place at Petit Théâtre Mercelisin in Ixelles on March 7, 2008.

BEAST continues celebrating its 25th anniversary with two concerts of music by BEAST composers past and present, with works by Jonty Harrison, Scott Wilson, Andrew Lewis, Alistair MacDonald, Iain Armstrong, Tom Cahill-Jones, Lisa Whistlecroft, Chris Tarren (one of the winners of the 2007 COMPASS Composition Prize) and many more. The concerts will take place on March 8-9, 2008 at CBSO Centre, Birmingham (England, UK).

A retrospective concert with the music of alcides lanza will take place on March 10, 2008 at Tanna Schulich Hall in Montréal. The launching of the book alcides lanza: Portrait of a Composer by Pamela Jones will precede the concert.

Åke Parmerud will take part in the Other Minds Festival 13 taking place from March 6-8, 2008 at the Kanbar Hall of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (California, USA). He will present his works La vie mécanique and Dreaming in Darkness.

Francis Dhomont will give a concert on March 3, 2008 at the Cité de la musique in Marseille (France), as part of the Foliephonies event. He will present Here and There, Phonurgie, and En cuerdas.

Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be performing on February 25, 2008 his Sandbox#2 at The Oxford in London (UK), as part of the Loop Collective series of concerts. He will then fly to France to perform at the release gig of le bruit du [sign], on which he performed laptop. The concert will take place on February 29 at Le Zèbre de Belleville (France).
