Until April 24, 2008, Paroles égales (Arturo Parra, guitar and original music; Catherine Ego, narrative), proposes a series of weekly evenings in music and words for the complete reading of Alessandro Baricco’s novel Océan mer. Every Thursday at 5:30 pm at L’Imprévu, in Montréal.

The GEMdays Festival will take place from January 24 to 27, 2008 at the University of Huddersfield (UK). Mathew Adkins, Gilles Gobeil, Sylvain Pohu, and Pierre Alexandre Tremblay are some of the guest composers.

François Bayle will present his piece Univers nerveux (French premiere) dedicated to the memory of Karheinz Stockhausen. This concert will take place on January 12, 2008 as part of the 30th concert series by the GRM, at Salle Olivier Messiaen, Maison de Radio France, Paris.

Gilles Gobeil, Jonty Harrison, David Hindmarch, and Elainie Lillios will successively curate an evening concert during the next BEAST series. The event will take place on January 9 — 12, 2008 at the George Cadbury Hall, University of Birmingham (England, UK).

On January 31, 2008 Mathew Adkins will be giving a solo concert at the SARC at the Queen’s University Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK). The concert will include Silk to Steel, Aerial, Deepfield available on Mondes inconnus, and the premiere of a new work: rima (2008).

Adrian Moore will play the full Sea of Singularity (available on Rêve de l’aube) and Annette Vande Gorne will present Fragments de lettre à un habitant du Centre (soon available on Exils) on Saturday December 8, 2007 at the Festival Licences in Paris (France).
