On July 2, 2007 Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will give a concert at The Oxford in London (UK) with Micro Void — another ensemble of the Loop collective.

On June 29, 2007 Bernard Fort will present his Messe pour le mois d’octobre at the Chapelle de l’Oratoire in Caluire (France). This 5-movement work explores different acoustic spaces — might they be in stereo, multitracks or panoramic — recorded outside or inside, partially or totally reconstituted. The work also explores the multiple uses of voice, and sound symbolism.

La première phrase et le dernier mot, audio/video installation by Christof Migone; Leçon de piano, audio/video installation by Émile Morin + Jocelyn Robert; L’origine des espèces, audio/photo installation by Jocelyn Robert; and Le don d’ambiguïté, visual and sound performance by Pierre-André Arcand will notably be presented.

The 9th Sound Travels festival started on July 1, 2007 in Toronto and will last until October 1. This event directed by Darren Copeland will feature, Amongst others, Barry Truax, Kristi Allik, Trevor Wishart, and Tony Ka Tung Leung. Performances are planned for July 23, and August 10-12.
