silence.musique is an essay on silence. I am in a quiet room and the silence is noisy. I decide to play with it because it refuses to assume its primary role. I improvise it, using it as a building block. I record it, manipulate it, dilate it, amplify it. Sometimes I choke it, sometimes I listen to it. The piano enters as resonance and fills the room with a sound fog, dense with silence.

This is my first encounter with this other. If I broke the ice, if I broke the silence, it is only to better find it again in a subsequent experience.
