This work is an exploration of cello materials from my old friend Lara and the emotivity of reuniting with her.

Impromptu[e] was realized in 2017 at the composer’s studio in Montréal and premiered on January 10, 2018 as part of the Ultrasons festival at Salle Claude-Champagne of the Université de Montréal (Québec). Thank you to Lara Laverdure for her performance at the cello.
