The origin of this piece lies in a friend, composer Gonzalo Biffarella, who proposed that each of us compose “in dialog” with another composer. “To dialog requires to be able to listen to the other and to let them present their arguments,” he said.
Then, I met the pianist Ana Foutel, whose approach to improvisation I found interesting, and we decided to try this experience together. This dialog was built by trading improvisations on the piano and on electroacoustic devices, with the aim of creating a narrative structure in which the two instruments would form a friendly, harmonious whole.
