BEAST presents Espaces, a six-concert series, on March 4 to 6, 2011 at the Foyle Studio of MAC in Birmingham (England, UK). On the programme: two carte blanche concerts by Kees Tazelaar and Annette Vande Gorne and works by Robert Normandeau, Iannis Xenakis, Francis Dhomont, Stephan Dunkelman, and several others.

The Ars Musica festival presents a Night of Electronic Music with acousmatic, mixed and videomusic works at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium) on March 23, 2011. Musiques & Recherches has invited students from the Conservatoire royal de Mons and Alexis Boilley to premiere 15 works celebrating the 65th birthday of Annette Vande Gorne during a concert at the Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium) on February 23, 2011. On the programme are works by Gilles Gobeil, Elizabeth Anderson, Robert Normandeau, Isabel Pires, Adrian Moore, Hans Tutschku and several more.

Hildegard Westerkamp is the composer-in-residence at the Shattering the Silence 2011 festival to take place on January 19 - 23, 2011 in Wolfville (Nova Scotia).

Jonty Harrison will be touring Northern California on January 9-12, 2011 with three different solo multichannel concerts. Starting on January 9 at The San Francisco Tape Music Festival 2010, Jonty Harrison will then give a talk and second concert at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University on January 10, and a thrid concert at the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT) at UC Berkeley on January 12. At these concerts he will diffuse works from the following: BEASTory, … et ainsi de suite…, Hot Air, Internal Combustion, Klang, Rock ’n’ Roll, Splintering, Streams, Undertow, and Unsound Objects.

Foliphonies celebrates the 20 years of empreintes DIGITALes with a double-concert of Patrick Ascione’ work and works by younger composers whose music is released by empreintes DIGITALes. This concert is produced by Les Acousmonautes at the Cité de la musique in Marseille (France) on December 8, 2010 as part of the annual colloquim of the Association des enseignants de la composition en musique électroacoustique (France).
