Francis Dhomont is the keynote speaker of the Toronto Electroacoustic Symposium (TES) to be held August 14 - 17, 2013 with 9 paper sessions and 6 concerts (2 of which are part the Sound Travels festival). Amongst the many pieces presented at these concerts are works by Francis Dhomont, Elizabeth Hoffman, Monique Jean, Steven Naylor, and Barry Truax.

Both trans_canada reloaded concerts on November 29, 2012 are part of the Sounds: GRM Akusmonium and Sound Dome series of the Imatronic Extended festival at the ZKM in Karlsruhe (Germany). These two concerts present works by Robert Normandeau (including the premiere of the final version of La part des anges), Francis Dhomont, Gilles Gobeil, Louis Dufort, and Barry Truax. The Imatronic Extended festival will take place from November 21 to December 2, is made fo the several series — Piano+, Neuroaesthetics, Sounds: GRM Akusmonium and Sound Dome, TBA21 Sound Space: Spatial Music — and includes the Giga-Hertz-Prize 2012 ceremony.

MANTIS Fall 2012 will take place on October 27 and 28, 2012 at the Martin Harris Centre of the University of Manchester (England, UK) with 4 concerts featuringJohn Young and premieres by Andrew Lewis, Brona Martin, Barry Truax, and student composers.

The trans_canada DVD-Audio finally brings these works together in 24-bit high definition sound in both stereo and Surround 5.1.
