October 15 – November 1, 2014: Premiere, Concerts by Francis Dhomont in Belgium, Brasil, Germany

Francis Dhomont will premiere Le cri du Choucas, the third part of the triptych Cycle des profondeurs, on October 15, 2014 during the festival L’Espace du son in Brussels (Belgium). On October 26 during the BIMESP 2014 in São Paulo (Brasil) will be the American premiere of the same work presented by Flô Menezes during the concert portrait dedicated to Francis Dhomont; for that festival he also prepared a carte blanche concert (with works by Parmegiani, Savva, Minsburg, and Vaggione). Finally the 27th Tage Neuer Musik in Weimar (Germany) is presenting an 88th anniversary concert on November 1 for which he will diffuse four of his works.

The 5th edition of the Sound and Music Computing Conference (SMC ’08) will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2008 in Berlin (Germany). Starting July 23 concerts will be presented as part of the Inventionen 2008 festival. The joined programme is absolutely outstanding: many artists will be there, such as Martin Bédard, François Bayle, Ivo Malec, Bernard Parmegiani, Jean-Claude Risset, Denis Smalley, Horacio Vaggione, Annette Vande Gorne… Not to be missed:

On April 24, 2008, a 50-year journey proposed by José Manuel Berenguer & Carmen Pardo will be presented as part of the Ars Musica’s Night of the Electroacoustic Music. The event will take place at Kaaitheater in Brussels (Belgium). The concert is in three part, each of them is dedicated to a generation of composers. On programme, works by: Schaeffer, Varèse, Eimert, Stockhausen, Xenakis, Ferrari, Risset, Dhomont, Ferreyra, Mandolini, Vande Gorne, Polonio, Truax, Vaggione, and Kupper.

Musiques & Recherches will present a concert that will premiere different electro works on April 27, 2007 at Petit Théâtre Mercelis in Brussels (Belgium). Amongst other titles, Liaisons mécaniques by Nicolas Bernier (commissioned by Musiques & Recherches with the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec), the new piece Arenas by Horacio Vaggione, and Distance liquide by Hans Tutschku.
