Francis Dhomont will participate to the 6th Festival di interpretazione della musica acusmatica 2009 that will take place in Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy) on July 9 - 12, 2009. Dhomont will have a “Carte blanche” and will present, amongst others, Lamento (chœur des femmes I) and Combattimento (chœur des femmes II) by Annette Vande Gorne, and extrémités lointaines by Hans Tutschku. Dhomont’s work Premières traces du Choucas will also be presented during the festival.

The Orford Arts Centre (Québec) announces its 4th Sound Art Workshop as part of the International Music Academy. Held on August 2 to 15, 2009 the workshop, directed by Yves Daoust, is open to sound creators of all styles. This year Yves Daoust — assisted by Alexandre Burton, and Jean Landry — has invited guest masters Gilles Gobeil, Jean-François Laporte, John Oswald, and Hans Tutschku with special guests Robert Normandeau, and Annette Vande Gorne.

Annette Vande Gorne will present a concert of videomusics on May 27, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The programme includes a videomusic by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay titled Walk That Way. Tuesday, Turn. and two other works, one of which is a videomusic by Inés Wickmann with music by Beatriz Ferreyra.

Annette Vande Gorne will be in concert at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium) on April 26, 2009 to present movements of her electroacoustic opera Yawar Fiesta, one of which, called Condor, will be premiered. The other movements to be played are Combattimento (chœur des femmes II and Ouverture.

The March 24, 2009 concert of the Ciclo electrónica series in the Sala de Cámara of the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid (Spain) presents electroacoustic music from Belgium. The programme includes Figures d’espaces by Annette Vande Gorne as well as works by Todoroff, Pousseur, Kupper and Goeyvaerts.

The Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium) will host the next ÉlectroBelge concert on February 26, 2009. The programme includes 9 premieres and performances by, amongst others, Annette Vande Gorne (Ouverture from Yamar Fiesta), Joris de Laet (Cordes et corps), Ingrid Drese (Plis de la nuit) and Todor Todoroff (Subternus).
