  • Tétreault / Yoshihide 3 Mini-CD Box Set

    An initial studio encounter, recorded live, makes up CD 1. Then both artists went to work to reprocess the raw material left out. Tétreault used obsolete tape recorders to create a analogue remix (analogique, CD 2). Otomo used an ultramodern computer to generate a digital reconstruction (numérique, CD 3).

    UK magazine The Wire publishes an interview with Paul Dolden in its March 2003 issue (#229). The empreintes DIGITALes label is completing the production of 3 new discs by Dolden who just finished the impressive task of remastering all his works. A first CD, Seuil de silences, reissues 3 works from the original The Threshold of Deafening Silence (from 1990) with 2 unreleased mixed works. The original edition of L’ivresse de la vitesse (“Intoxication by Speed”) (from 1994) was also entirely revamped and will soon be available as 2 distinct albums.

    Dunkelman Composes for dance

    While spending the year 2003 in residency at the GMEM (France), Stephan Dunkelman also proposes two new music for Barbara Mavro-Thalatissis’s choreographies: Motion Pictures, to be presented in Brussels, Courtrai (Belgium), and Grenoble (France) and Sans queues ni têtes to be also presented in Brussels and Marseille (France).
