The piece scènes, rendez-vous by Pete Stollery will be presented as part of the Hipersônica festival in São Paulo (Brazil) that will take place from August 14 to 17, 2007 (their website will be launched on August 13); and as part of the Futura festival that will take place from August 17 to 19th in Crest (France). Nicolas Bernier will offer a performance of Ail et l’eau faille, his fisrt solo album, during CD launch of A_dontigny’s Geisteswissen­schaften, on June 13, 2007 at Saw Gallery in Ottawa.

A first acousmatic music concert in Cherbourg-Octeville (France) will take place on June 1, 2007. Note that François Bayle will present La main vide and premiere Espaces etc, and Patrick Ascione will diffuse Danse de l’aube and his new piece Ascionerie n^o 4 (from the series Figures de style).

The Suoni Per Il Popolo festival will take place from June 1 - 30, 2007 at Casa del Popolo and La Sala Rossa, Montréal. Many artists from the actuelle and electro music scene will be there, including:

• John Butcher + Martin Tétreault, on June 14;
• Alexandre St-Onge; on June 15;
• Foodsoon (Bernard Falaise, Fabrizio Gilardino, Alexander MacSween), on June 20;
• A_dontigny + Camp + Milliseconde topographie, on June 24, for the No Type label showcase.

The piece la cloche fêlée by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be performed at SCRIME in Bordeaux (France) on May 31, 2007. The composer will be there. You can listen to Tremblay’s repertoire on his electroradio stream.

Artists A_dontigny, Louis Dufort, Chantal Dumas, Steve Heimbecker, Mathieu Lévesque, Francisco López, Tomas Phillips and Hélène Prévost will get together to form the Victoriaville matière sonore ensemble that will present, under Francisco López’s direction, a collective work of acousmatic art realised using recordings previously realised in the town of Victoriaville. This event will take place on May 19, 2007 as part of the 24th FIMAV.
