The four poets José Acquelin, Léon Guy Dupuis, Bertrand Laverdure, and Yannick Renaud with “turntablist” Martin Tétreault will give a live public reading embellished by the Cuban spirit as part of the Quebecuba event. It will take place from May 27 to June 1, 2007 in Havana (Cuba).

Mathew Adkins’s music will travel all over America and Europe, this summer:

• May 19: Noumena (cello, and electronics) will be performed by Iracema de Andrade at Sala Manuel M Ponce of the Palacio de las Bellas Artes in Mexico City (Mexico) as part of the 29th Foro Internacional de Música Nueva Manuel Enríquez; Cortex will be performed at the IMMArts TechArt20xx Exhibition of the Northerm Illinois University in DeKalb (US);
• May 24: Silk to Steel will be performed at the Surrounded Symposia taking place at the University of Keele (UK);
• July 8: Cortex will be performed again at the Digital Music Research Network Conference at Leeds Metropolitan University (UK);
• August 18: Silent Red will be performed at the Futura 2007 festival in Crest (France.

On the occasion of the festival Le Bruit de la neige (9th edition) in Annecy (France), Francis Dhomont will present on May 25, 2007 his works Here and There, Vol d’Arondes, Je te salue, vieil océan!, Premières traces du Choucas, À propos de K, and Moirures, a videomusic realised with visual artist Inés Wickmann. The Synthèse festival that takes place in Bourges (France) from June 1 to 10, 2007 promises us a great edition. Amongst guest artists, we can find Jon Appleton, Francis Dhomont, Louis Dufort, Denis Dufour, Beatriz Ferreyra, Max Mathews, Barry Truax, and Hans Tutschku. Francis Dhomont will notably present his work Premières traces du Choucas on June 4th and a lecture entitled Hypothèses sur un parcours personnel, the day after, on June 5th.

A concert presented on the Arts Temps Réel acousmonium (a mobile system of 32 tracks for 40 loudspeakers) will take place on June 26, 2007 in Aix-en-Provence (France), as part of the Microfolies series of the Musique dans la rue event. Here and There by Francis Dhomont, Les flûtes en feu by Åke Parmerud, Y---OW by Roxanne Turcotte, and a new piece by Patrick Ascione will notably be performed on this uncommon orchestra…

The Expo Plymouth of the Sonic Arts Network will take place from June 22 to 25, 2007 in Plymouth (UK). Moirures, videomusic by Francis Dhomont and Inés Wickmann and Walk That Way. Tuesday, Turn. by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be presented on June 23.
