    Marcelle Deschênes starts a 3-week tour in Europe with a solo concert presented by Les Acousmonautes at Cité de la musique in Marseille (France) on March 14, 2011. She will then take part in Ars Musica’s Night of Electronic Music in Brussels (Belgium) on March 23. While in residency at GMVL in Lyon (France) from March 24 to April 4 she will perform a solo acousmatic concert presented by Motus at Les Voûtes in Paris (France) on March 29 and a third solo concert preceded by a concert of works by her ex-students both presented by GMVL at Villa Gillet in Lyon in March 31.

    Musiques & Recherches has invited students from the Conservatoire royal de Mons and Alexis Boilley to premiere 15 works celebrating the 65th birthday of Annette Vande Gorne during a concert at the Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium) on February 23, 2011. On the programme are works by Gilles Gobeil, Elizabeth Anderson, Robert Normandeau, Isabel Pires, Adrian Moore, Hans Tutschku and several more.

    Jonty Harrison will be touring Northern California on January 9-12, 2011 with three different solo multichannel concerts. Starting on January 9 at The San Francisco Tape Music Festival 2010, Jonty Harrison will then give a talk and second concert at the Center for Computer Research in Music and Acoustics (CCRMA) at Stanford University on January 10, and a thrid concert at the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT) at UC Berkeley on January 12. At these concerts he will diffuse works from the following: BEASTory, … et ainsi de suite…, Hot Air, Internal Combustion, Klang, Rock ’n’ Roll, Splintering, Streams, Undertow, and Unsound Objects.
