Pierre Alexandre Tremblay’s first release on empreintes DIGITALes is a 59-min DVD-Audio wich introduces his Alter ego, a quaint intimacy shaped by his relation with music.

Three Ina-GRM (Groupe de recherches musicales) titles that were “out of stock” or even “out of print” have been repressed and are now available: the 4-CD boxset Archives GRM, Labyrinthe! by Pierre Henry, as well as L’œuvre musicale by Henry and Schaeffer.

Montreal Sound Matter / Montréal matière sonore is the companion album to the sound installation of the same name presented in Montréal, July 7 to August 27, 2006. Eight sonic portraits of Montréal were produced using a common pool of field recordings of Montréal. Featuring Francisco López, Yves Daoust, Steve Heimbecker, A_dontigny, Chantal Dumas, Hélène Prévost, Mathieu Lévesque, and Tomas Phillips.

A member of Crackhaus (alongside Deadbeat), Stephen Beaupré, is the one behind the latest release from the Mutek_rec label, Foe Destroyer, an album both etheral and ferociously rhythmic. Milliseconde topographie, a duo that’s as much at ease in videomusic as it is in aquatic sound installations, unveils a trilogy of limited edition street porters, accompanied by an original soundtrack on CDR. The first two, Poster No 1 and Poster No 2, are now available through electrocd.com.

The Oral label just unveiled two new releases. Firstly, following the success of the 1982 reissue of Monotonprodukt 07 [27y++] by Monoton, the label now releases Monotonprodukt 02 [Blau — 26y++], the previous long unavailable 1980 album. This remastered reissue also contains 3 bonus tracks from the same period. Secondly, one of the two co-monarchs of the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland, Carl Michael von Hausswolff, is launching his album The Wonderful World of Male Intuition. Hausswolff, paranormal electronic interferences specialist, was awarded a mention at the 2002 Prix Ars Electronica.
