Barry Truax’s opera is now available as a double CD on the Cambridge Street Records label. Powers of Two, An Electroacoustic Opera is an electroacoustic opera for six singers, dancers, video and multitrack sound.

Sound artist Chantal Dumas is the featured artist in the latest issue (#91) of Musicworks magazine, from Toronto (Canada).

Recorded during a residency at the Studio 12 of Montréal’s Maison de Radio-Canada, Labo MTL gathers three atypic improvisers for an exceptional session: Martin Tétreault on turntables, the electronic processings of Kaffe Matthews and Léon Lo (aka Helen of Troy) on violin.

Two years after their first album, liberum arbitrium, the eletcronic noise duet morceaux_de_machines is back with Estrapade. On this new opus, they are joined by Diane Labrosse (sampler), Martin Tétreault and Yoshihide Otomo (turntables). Moreover, post-production and mastering was entrusted to maximalist composer Paul Dolden.
