Fresh out of the factory, three new releases by No Type: Hey Typical! (blue 10” LP) by flamboyant Books on Tape, May ’68 (clear 10” LP) from the enigmatic Claudia Bonarelli and finally We Remain Faded (CD) strait from the lab of Headphone Science.

An initial studio encounter, recorded live, makes up CD 1. Then both artists went to work to reprocess the raw material left out. Tétreault used obsolete tape recorders to create a analogue remix (analogique, CD 2). Otomo used an ultramodern computer to generate a digital reconstruction (numérique, CD 3).

Now available, the two spring releases from the unrepentant Squint Fucker Press label. Cal Crawford will present his latest opus [squint_00f] and Jonathan Parant will present his first CD, [squint_00^e]. Crawford is also part of this year’s impressive Mutek distribution, Sunday June 1, 2003.
