As part of the Nothing New Conference, works by Gilles Gobeil and Francis Dhomont will be presented in concert at the University of Huddersfield (UK) on April 24, 2009. The programme includes, amongst others, Ombres, espaces, silences… (available on Trois songes) by Gobeil, Novars (available on Cycle du son) by Dhomont and Gesulado by Ludger Brümmer.

A retrospective concert of Jon Appleton’s musical career took place on March 19, 2009 at the Electronic Music New York Festival at Brooklyn College (USA).

The Leeds College of Music’s electroacoustic music ensemble n.one will present its 7th concert during the FuseLeeds09 festival on May 1, 2009 in Leeds (England, UK). Adrian Moore will make the keynote address and will then present his works Surface and Dreaming of the Dawn.

Musiques & Recherches (Belgium) will present an “International Concert” on April 29, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The programme includes, amongst others: Castalie by Quebecer Gilles Gobeil, Instant of a Crystal Glass by Greek Theodore Lotis and Zwei Räume by German Hans Tutschku.

Annette Vande Gorne will present a concert of videomusics on May 27, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The programme includes a videomusic by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay titled Walk That Way. Tuesday, Turn. and two other works, one of which is a videomusic by Inés Wickmann with music by Beatriz Ferreyra.

The City University of New York will present two days of concerts during the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Conference (NYCEMF). The event takes place from April 2 to 4, 2009 in New York (USA).
