The Birmingham ElectroAcoustic Sound Theatre (BEAST) will present a series of 5 concerts on Travels in Time and Space on May 29 — 31, 2009 at CBSO Centre in Birmingham (England, UK). On May 30, Andrew Lewis will give a solo concert during which he will present his works Danses acousmatiques, Benllech Shells (available on Miroirs obscurs) and Ascent. Another concert the same evening will present Jonty Harrison’s work Phantom Power and Hans Tutschku’s Zwei Räume.

The Orford Arts Centre (Québec) announces its 4th Sound Art Workshop as part of the International Music Academy. Held on August 2 to 15, 2009 the workshop, directed by Yves Daoust, is open to sound creators of all styles. This year Yves Daoust — assisted by Alexandre Burton, and Jean Landry — has invited guest masters Gilles Gobeil, Jean-François Laporte, John Oswald, and Hans Tutschku with special guests Robert Normandeau, and Annette Vande Gorne.

Musiques & Recherches (Belgium) will present an “International Concert” on April 29, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels (Belgium). The programme includes, amongst others: Castalie by Quebecer Gilles Gobeil, Instant of a Crystal Glass by Greek Theodore Lotis and Zwei Räume by German Hans Tutschku.

The City University of New York will present two days of concerts during the New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival and Conference (NYCEMF). The event takes place from April 2 to 4, 2009 in New York (USA). The programme includes works by Pete Stollery, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Mathew Adkins, Adrian Moore, Hans Tutschku, Martin Bédard, Georges Forget, Geof Holbrook and many, many others!

The Sound Junction 2009 event will take place on June 5-6, 2009 at the University of Sheffield (UK) with special guest: François Bayle, who will give a concert on June 5. Also scheduled, a premiere by Robert Dow and works by Hans Tutschku, Adrian Moore, Erdem Helvacıoğlu, Christian Zanési, and Peter Batchelor.

The work Les invisibles (available on Moment) by Hans Tutschku will be presented by CIRM at the auditorium of the Conservatoire à rayonnement régional in Nice on March 18, 2009 at 6pm.
