Gilles Gobeil will be at the Ultraschall Festival in Berlin (Germany) to premiere his latest work Les lointains noirs et rouges on January 25, 2009. His recent work Castalie will also be presented. Hans Tutschku will premired the 16-track version of Zwei Räume at the same concert.

Ombres, espaces, silences… by Gilles Gobeil has been selected for a continuous presentation (Harty Room) during the upcoming ICMC 2008 to take place on August 24-29, 2008 in Belfast (Northern Ireland, UK). Moreover, Olivier Bélanger, Elainie Lillios, Pierre Alexandre Tremblay, Mathew Adkins, and Hans Tutschku have works presented in concerts!

Hans Tutschku will be in concert on August 15, 2008 (8 pm) with the Ensemble für Intuitive Musik Weimar (EFIM) at Jakobskirche in Weimar (Germany) as part of the Neue Musik in Thüringen’s Termine event.

At the SMC ’08 Conference Hans Tutschku will present his work Zellen Linien for piano and live electronics (Sebastian Berweck, piano) on July 31, 2008, and will premiere Zwei Räume on August 3, 2008 at the Technische Universität (TU) in Berlin (Germany).

The 5th edition of the Sound and Music Computing Conference (SMC ’08) will take place from July 31 to August 3, 2008 in Berlin (Germany). Starting July 23 concerts will be presented as part of the Inventionen 2008 festival. The joined programme is absolutely outstanding: many artists will be there, such as Martin Bédard, François Bayle, Ivo Malec, Bernard Parmegiani, Jean-Claude Risset, Denis Smalley, Horacio Vaggione, Annette Vande Gorne… Not to be missed:

• July 26: concert by Gilles Gobeil (Trilogie d’ondes) with Suzanne Binet-Audet playing ondes Martenot;
• July 27: concert “60 Jahre Musique Concrète & 50 Jahre GRM”;
• July 31: SMC ’08 opening concert with Gilles Gobeil (premiere of Castalie), Ludger Brümmer, Hans Tutschku et Åke Parmerud.

Einst mit dir for soprano, clarinet, violin and electronics by Hans Tutschku will be presented on May 14, 2008 at the Harvard University’ New College Theatre in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA). Next, on May 16, his piece Zellen — Linien for piano and electronics will be presented at the Schulich School of Music’ Tanna Schulich Hall in Montréal. On June 4, his piece Das Bleierne Klavier will be programmed during the June in Buffalo festival (New York, USA). Finally, on June 13 Spiegelbilder will be performed at the Goethe-Institut in Santiago de Chile (Chile).
