As part of the Électro-chocs series, Gilles Gobeil will present a concert with the electroacoustic composition class of the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal on December 10, 2009 at the Conservatoire. Gobeil will give a conference at 7pm and will present his works Ombres, espaces, silences…, Le miroir triste (available on Trois songes), Nuit cendre (available on … dans le silence de la nuit…), Les lointains noirs et rouges, and Castalie during the concert at 8pm.

Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will premiere his work Reflets de notre société crépusculaire, which is a GRM commission, on December 6, 2009 at Maison de Radio France, Paris. On December 10, he will participate to the Théorie des cordes, Festival#0 that takes place also in Paris. On December 12, he will play in duet with Robin Fincker at Le Cherche Ardeur in Toulouse (France).

Darren Copeland premieres his work Rights of the Child / Aux droits de l’enfant online on Réseaux’s website from December 1, 2009 to February 28, 2010.

The LOOP 2 festival of acoustic, electroacoustic and mixed contemporary music from Belgium and abroad… will take place on November 26-28, 2009 at Espace Senghor in Brussels. The first evening is a carte blanche to Ingrid Drese who will present her own work and pieces by Elsa Justel, Philippe Mion, Annette Vande Gorne and other composers.

Réseaux presents Akousma (6), Electroacoustic Musics Festival, on November 18 - 22, 2009 at Monument-National and Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. 5 evenings of immersive concerts where sound will be bursting into shards of all shapes and sizes. On the programme: BJ Nilsen, Theresa Transistor, Paul Dolden, Chantal Dumas, Lionel Marchetti, Érick d’Orion, eRikm, Martin Messier, Olivier Girouard and many others. Plus conferences and workshops.

Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be performing the premiere of Sandbox#3.n as part of the Kammer Klang 12 at Café Oto (London, UK) on November 24, 2009. On the same evening, he will join the jazz quartet Outhouse and Sarah Nicolls will perform his piano and processing work Un clou, son marteau, et le béton.
