The Expo Plymouth of the Sonic Arts Network will take place from June 22 to 25, 2007 in Plymouth (UK). Moirures, videomusic by Francis Dhomont and Inés Wickmann and Walk That Way. Tuesday, Turn. by Pierre Alexandre Tremblay will be presented on June 23.

The Festival de Radio France et Montpellier Languedoc-Roussillon (France) will take place from July 11 to 28, 2007. Coming up:

• July 24: diffusion of Un autre Printemps and À propos de K by Francis Dhomont, and La roue ferris and Entre-temps by Bernard Parmegiani;
• July 26: diffusion of Spaces of mind by Daniel Teruggi;
• July 27: presentation of Monster 600, a film by Laurent Chanez; music by Christian Zanési and Arnaud Rebotini.

From July 17 to 29, 2007, the Université d’été de la radio in Arles (France) will propose workshops and conferences by renowned experts. Within that framework Francis Dhomont will give a master class: 3 days of listening in order to understand the importance of sound in new music and contemporary artistic forms are scheduled from July 18 to 20. These trainings are designed for people interested by sound creative work (musicians, video makers, filmmakers, actors, teachers, critics, radio experts…).

Second weekend of Soundings… on February 2 to 4, 2007 at the Reid Concert Hall in Edinburgh (UK). On the programme, works by Adrian Moore, Pete Stollery, Jonty Harrison, Francis Dhomont, Natasha Barrett, and several others.

Francis Dhomont will be at the University of Manchester (UK) on November 24 and 25, 2006 to present two concerts at the Manchester Theatre in Sound (MANTIS). On November 24, Dhomont will present his works Il ritorno [sections 1 & 2], and Voyage-miroir. The following day, November 25, he will present his works Vol d’Arondes, Les moirures du temps, Un autre Printemps, Phonurgie, and En cuerdas.

A few days earlier, on November 16, Dhomont presented the complete version of Forêt profonde in a concert produced by the Groupe de musique expérimentale de Marseille (GMEM, France).

Francis Dhomont will give a conference during which he will show and comment Uli Aumüller’s documentary My Cinema for the Ears. The conference will take place on December 15, 2006, and is presented by the Volubilis network (Avignon, France).
