The audio installation Solo de musique concrète pour 6 pianos sans pianiste by Érick d’Orion will be presented from June 25 to July 24, 2009 as part of the 7th City Sonics festival in Mons (Belgium).

The series Je me souviens (2), tribute to Québec electronic music pionneers will present a concert dedicated to alcides lanza with, amongst others, Novi_sad, Pierre Tanguay and Érick d’Orion on June 10, 2009 at La Sala Rossa (Montréal).

Érick d’Orion will represent Canada for the first Cultural Leadership International (CLI) programme to take place on May 11-13, 2009 in Madrid (Spain).

Chroniques is a box 4 headphones and as many soundtracks by Érik d’Orion, Nicolas Bernier, Alexis Bellavance, and Nelly-Ève Rajotte. Chroniques will be launched on October 30, 2008 at the Maison de la culture Notre-Dame-de-Grâce in Montréal. The exhibition will last until January 15, 2009.

On October 5, 1948 at 9PM on the French radio was broadcasted the very first musique concrète concert. Exactly 60 years later on 2 Montréal radio stations and one Québec City station, Réseaux des arts médiatiques presents a multi-radio event with Érick d’Orion, Mario Gauthier, and Hélène Prévost. These composers will play their own work live and Pierre Schaeffer’s first pieces.
