  • February 9 – 14, 2006: Tétreault Tours Germany and Poland

    Martin Tétreault will begin his tour at the Club Transmediale.06 festival in Berlin (Germany) on February 9, 2006 with a concert alongside Goodiepal and Ignaz Schick titled The Curious Membrane Meets the Happy Accident. Subsequently, Tétreault will proceed along in duo with Ignaz Schick at the Cuba art center, located in the Münster (Germany) train station on February 10, 2006, at the Haferkamp gallery in Köln (Germany) on February 11, 2006, and at the Klanggalerie in Hannover (Germany) on February 12, 2006. Afterward, they will continue to the Stary Browar building in Poznan (Poland) on February 13, as well at the Mozg association in Bydgoszcz (Poland) on February 14, 2006.

    February 10 – 23, 2005: &records: Two Events

    The new record label &records, managed by Fabrizio Gilardino and Michel F Côté, announces two music events to be held in Montréal. Firstly, on February 10, 2005 at Casa del Popolo, a concert will feature musics by the Bernard Falaise and Martin Tétreault duo, followed by the band Bob (Éric Bernier, Michel F Côté, Guy Trifiro and their special guest Tétreault). Secondly, on February 23, 2005 at the O Patro Vys concert space, the band Foodsoon (Bernard Falaise, Alexander MacSween et Fabrizio Gilardino) will share the stage with Bob, again joined by Tétreault. The night will also feature videos by David Clérmont-Béïque and Frédéric St-Hilaire (Cinetik).

    November 28, 2004: Sounding Objects and Surfaces in Québec City

    Frottements, an exhibiton dedicated to the exploration of sounding objects and surfaces, is shown at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (Québec City) September 1 to Novembre 28, 2004. The exhibition’s curator, Nicole Gingras — who also directed the book S:on, Sound in Contemporary Canadian Art, gathered several artists such as Jean-Pierre Gauthier, Raymond Gervais, Jocelyn Robert, the Skoltz_Kolgen duo as well as Martin Tétreault. Tétreault will perform Passages sur illustration sur vinyle on the first night, September 1, 2004 at 7 pm in the museum’s auditorium. On September 17, Skoltz_Kolgen will give a live performance at 9pm.
