The Keele University (England, UK) will present the Sixth International Conference on Music Since 1900 on July 2 — 5, 2009. The Nuits sonores Festival — May 20-24, 2009 in Lyon (France) — will present a concert with Pierre Henry’s music on May 24 at the Transbordeur.

5-Penny New Music Concerts is presenting Arturo Parra in a concert of the integral of his disc Voz (four works for guitar and spoken voice) on May 23, 2009 at St Peter’s United Church in Sudbury (Canada). Parra will also give classes and conferences in schools of the area.

Louis Dufort signs the music of a new solo choreography by Marie Chouinard named Gloires du matin. For the first time in 20 years, Marie Chouinard will return on stage to present this choreography in her studio in Montréal from May 27 — 29, 2009.

The series Je me souviens (2), tribute to Québec electronic music pionneers (curated by Éric Mattson), will present a concert dedicated to Pierre Mercure with, amongst others, Monique Jean on May 22, 2009 at La Sala Rossa (Montréal).

A concert by Kristoff K.Roll will be broadcasted on France Musique at the À l’improviste programme on May 22, 2009 at midnight. During one month, the concert will be online on the Radio France website.
